Residential Systems

Whether you make your home in a house, mobile home, or even a seasonal RV, if your activities are restricted because of steps, door thresholds, or steep inclines let us tell you how we can help.  Modular platforms  of various sizes, incremental ramp lengths, and adjustable support legs make it possible to accommodate almost any situation.  The "Armada" line residential ramps are 36" wide and have a weight capacity of 750 pounds (or 100 pounds per square foot when evenly distributed).
 

Need to avoid a flower bed?  Want to keep existing approaches and steps available for others?  Need to wrap around from a rear door to a side driveway?  We've got some ideas for you.
 

What if you live in an apartment and your landlord is reluctant to work with you?  We'll be happy to talk with them, or with local advocates and agencies who can help enforce accessibility codes.
 

These systems are supported by existing ground, driveways, gravel, and so on - no foundations or sunken footings are needed.  No permanent connections are made to the structure, so in most jurisdictions no building permits are required.  These systems meet all ADA and ANSI guidelines. 
 

If you move, your ramp is easy to disassemble and take with you - since it's modular, if a new configuration is needed the existing components can be incorporated into it.  If you no longer need it you can sell or even recycle it.
 

Assembly is fast and easy with two people and basic tools, but if you're anywhere near Michigan's Thumb we'll be happy to help arrange for installation.  If you're going to do it yourself, the components can be shipped to your home or any other location you wish...except a post office box.  They're a bit too large for that.
 

Components are constructed of high-strength, all-welded aluminum alloy, fully anodized with an attractive and durable finish that won't chip,  flake, or rust, include all-stainless steel fasteners, and meet all ADA and ANSI guidelines.  Bi-directional knurled tread areas form a rugged skid resistant surface that cannot wear off or  peel.  The system comes with a manufacturer's 5 year warranty.
